IVF using donor eggs makes having a child possible for many couples who might not otherwise be able to get pregnant using the woman’s own eggs. The patient may not produce eggs due to ovarian failure, severe endometriosis, ovary removal in certain types of cancers, advanced age, etc.

It is a relatively simple process both medically and legally. Greek legislation allows for egg donation and sets the framework for its application.

Nevertheless, there are many issues that need to be discussed before a couple decides to use donated oocytes during their IVF treatment.

Our dedicated team can provide the medical, psyschological and legal guidance and support required before, during and after IVF treatment with donated eggs.
